He learnt the skills of photography when he was in US for couple of years. With tons of time in hand and facilities, grew a hobby which turned into passion. He bought his first Digital SLR camera, which helps to grow as an artist. Also he started reading photography books and attended various workshops of famous photographers from US. His passion for photography gave him opportunities to work on various assignments. The first assignment with Hindu Cultural Center (HCC), Connecticut - USA. Next one year he continued as a lead photographer of HCC. Apart from this he had various other assignmets incudin a rock concert by American rock band "Simple Jim". His work has been praised by lots of people.

While Dheeraj's primary interests are Child photography and individual portraits photography, he has also photographed award functions, weddings and even delved in nature photography. His current photo gear includes the Canon DSLR and a variety of lenses. He has also taken few workshops in US, wherein he taught youngsters on basics of photography.

Dheeraj lives in Capital of India - Delhi and does most of his photography in the capital region (Delhi and NCR). However, he can travel to other places in India or outside.
